Coronation Street wedding dress to be auctioned for critically ill children's charity

The wedding dress size 10 was increased by Unique Forever Sian (played by actress Sacha Parkinson) on his marriage to Sophie Webster.

It will be auctioned to benefit Ronald McDonald House in your Ball annual fundraiser on March 24.

Ronald McDonald House is located in the grounds of the Children's Hospital Alder Hay and provides free hosting to thousands of families with seriously ill children. It also gives families a place to relax and be together, away from the stress of the hospital.

House Director Jan Thomas said: "We are very pleased to receive this unusual type of gift.

"We organize the auction to allow as many memories as wives and collectors as possible the chance to own this wedding dresses special."

The episode was to show the first lesbian wedding street, but in a dramatic turn of Sian learned that Sofia had cheated and got away before the wedding could take place.
